Other Baths

This second bathroom on the bedroom floor was in dire need of a fix. The toilet plumbing was leaking into the beautiful plaster crown of the entrance hallway below. There was no cabinet space for typical items and the tub was taking up a huge amount of space and was never used.

We moved the toilet to the opposite side behind the door and placed the cabinets and sink where the tub was. We had to make the room a little wider to accommodate 3 sets of cabinets. A glass enclosed shower was placed where the toilet used to be. Our son was the designer of this bath, who choose a more classic look, and a favorite of designers who have visited since.

In addition, we converted a large front bedroom suite into 2 bedrooms (one used as a study) and added a new bath in between them that replaced a tiny closet. This bath is a jack and jill style, accessible with a door for each bedroom. For extra bathing comfort, we installed a large DXV rain showerhead that matches the distinctive brushed nickel finish of the wall-mount faucet.
